AsiaVerify is very excited to announce the appointment of Abigail (Abby) Jogno as our Head of Client Success in this newly created role as we continue to expand our operations and onboard clients around the world!
Abby is a seasoned verification and research industry professional with more than 16 years of experience delivering successful compliance operations, business development, and account management. She is highly regarded for her dedicated approach to ensuring smooth operations, delivering performance excellence, and above all building transparent, flexible, and trusted relationships with clients. Her comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges that compliance teams face when conducting regulatory verification will be a huge asset to our Client Success team, and combined with her warm and welcoming personality we think she’s a perfect fit for AsiaVerify!
We sat down with her to find out more about her background, experience, and what impact she is looking forward to making at AsiaVerify!
Can you tell us a little about where in the world you are from?
I am based in the Philippines. We’re known to have some of the best beaches in the world, delicious fruit and amazing cuisine. Anthony Bourdain once said “I think Sisig (Filipino pork dish) is perfectly positioned to win the hearts and minds of the world as a whole”.
What were you doing in your previous career?
I worked as a Director of Research and Verification for a background screening company. I managed the fulfillment side of the business, to ensure that we deliver effective and accurate verification services and enable smooth operations to exceed our SLA expectations with clients.
What drew you to join AsiaVerify?
When I first heard about AsiaVerify, I started researching the business and was deeply impressed with its technology. Coming from a background screening and verification career, I know the challenges of conducting effective verification, which often requires significant and costly manual intervention to ensure accurate screening services.
The technology solution that AsiaVerify offers is unique and something that is really needed. The potential is enormous! When I meet Eelee and Ficoal, I knew right away that this is the type of company I want to work for. What impact are you looking forward to making at the company?
I look forward to being known as someone who contributed to the company’s success by:
1. Understanding the client’s needs, and providing the best solution that will ultimately make them advocates of AsiaVerify.
2. Becoming a “Thought Leader” in the future within the RegTech industry.
3. Help steer the solution innovations based on observations within the market.
What do you love to do outside of work/or other interesting facts about you?
I love to travel! Before the pandemic, I made a point to visit at least one foreign country every year. Sydney is my favourite city and I would go back every chance I get. I also love to make scented candles in my spare time.
